Volga-Dnepr Group has strengthened its Global Healthcare Team to support customers with logistics solutions for their pharmaceutical products.
The team will be led by Yulia Celetaria, Healthcare Director, who will be in charge of operations and alignment of dedicated healthcare services using the group’s freighter fleet and network connections through scheduled flights and charter options.
The team, consisting of regional experts, will work closely with all the stakeholders, starting from pharma manufacturers, freight forwarders, road feeder providers up to ground handling agents, last-mile delivery companies and final consignee, as well as global healthcare organizations and local regulators.
The Group has also set up a dedicated vaccine task force, which will be fronted by Casper Pan, Head of Healthcare APAC.
The complete team follows the global vaccine development trends and implements the necessary changes to the existing processes to provide high-quality services and guarantee vaccine integrity.
Celetaria said: “We have aligned our organizational chart to embrace various levels of operational process – Sales, Procurement, Operations, which enables us to meet the customers’ needs and provide 360-degree coverage of the situation, which sometimes changes at a sky-rocket pace.
“With our qualified and experienced team members who possess the right combination of hard and soft skills and are devoted to lifelong learning, we are able to meet the logistics challenges of yesterday, today and tomorrow.”
For the first 9 months of 2020, the Group has managed to triple its healthcare and humanitarian volumes surpassing 55,000 tonnes, delivering essential cargo amid the pandemic and offering dedicated logistics solutions for a wide range of shipments.
