After five years at the ULD lessor, Carsten Hernig moves to new Lufthansa Cargo role
Thomas Sonntag is the new managing director of Jettainer, the Lufthansa Cargo subsidiary for outsourced ULD management.
He succeeds Carsten Hernig who will assume the role of Head of Region Latin America & Caribbean at Lufthansa Cargo
Sonntag, a qualified mechanical engineer, joined Lufthansa Cargo ten years ago as Vice President Procurement & Infrastructure.
Effective 1 July, Hernig will be based in Sao Paolo. He will report directly to Dorothea von Boxberg, Board Member Product and Sales, in his new position.
This move sees Hernig switching back to the parent company after five-and-a-half years with Jettainer.
