Munich is my favourite German city. I have visited it several times, either to study the German language or to attend Transport Logistic (TL). I like the people, pretzels and Paulaner beer.
I always keep an eye out for how Bayern Munich are doing, and have seen them play at the former Olympic Stadium and the Allianz Arena.
As you can see, the FCB fans are quite eccentric, unlike the less demonstrative Brentford fans of my beloved Bees.
Getting from Munich’s Hauptbahnhof (main train station) to the Messe (exhibition centre) for TL is straightforward. The trade-fair grounds are located directly next to the two subway (U-Bahn) stops Messestadt West and Messestadt Ost on the U2 line.
For events at the Internationales Congress Center München, exit at the stop Messestadt West.
