GEODIS Netherlands has opened an airside gateway at Amsterdam’s Schiphol airport.
The 2,500 sq m of warehouse and office space is located directly next to the airport’s runway.
Ellis de Jong, Operations Director Freight Forwarding, said: “We estimate that Gateway will bring a significant decrease in airfreight handling times, ensuring quicker delivery of cargo and a better service to our customers. Export wise, with Gateway we gain more efficiencies on the consolidation side.”
