City Union Logistics, a member of XLProjects based in China, has completed the air charter of an AN124 to Moldova from Shanghai Pudong Airport.
The freighter was fully loaded with medical supplies including masks, protection suits, Covid-19 virus test kits, gloves, medicines and ear thermometers.
City Union had to organise and prepare all the work within one week, dealing with more than 30 suppliers and more than 20 types of medical supplies which were subject to strict requirements on documentation as well as Customs inspections.
The flight was chartered by the Moldovan government.
