Following an audit of several months by quality certification agency Bureau Veritas, Bolloré Logistics has been awarded global certification for all the sites in its network.
The single integrated certification comprises all the standards relating to workplace safety (ISO 45001:2018), quality management (ISO 9001:2015) and the environment (ISO 14001:2015).
Aimed at the harmonisation of the network’s current procedures at global level, the new certification will enable Bolloré Logistics to pursue the roll-out of common operational processes to respond to the requirements of its international customers and continuously improve its management methods and tools with a view to greater agility and enhanced performance.
“The certification programme is a further advance in the implementation of common processes on the convergence of work methods regardless of the geographical region concerned,” said Christian Teillet, QHSE Director at Bolloré Logistics.
The policy is the culmination of several years of work and follows the awarding of Bureau Veritas certification for each of the geographical regions covered by Bolloré Logistics, including Europe, Asia-Pacific, the Americas, the Middle East, South Asia and Africa.
Thierry Ehrenbogen, CEO of Bolloré Logistics, said: “We are proud to rank as a forerunner of this global certification, which constitutes a key step forward in our quest for operational excellence. From Nairobi to Tokyo and from Singapore to Rio, we guarantee our customers the uniform processing of their goods flows with an identical level of service quality. Our aim is to support the rapid change in the needs of our customers in an ever more complex and volatile world.”
