Air Charter Service has appointed Chris Fisher as business development director in the US.
He has 30 years of experience in the aviation industry and will work primarily with the airfreight charter broker’s team based in New York.
Fisher began his career in aviation logistics in the US Navy before moving into an operations management role at a large freight forwarder and later to another charter company.
ACS chief executive Justin Bowman said: “We are thrilled to have Chris on board to add his diverse experience working with the government, as well as within the private sector, to our team. He brings highly valuable international experience in freight forwarding that will be a great asset to our business.
“Chris has a great track record within the industry, and we are always looking to bring individuals with new experiences into our company so that we can better service our customers.”
Fisher said: “I am delighted to be joining Air Charter Service, having admired the company for many years due to its combined offering of global reach and local expertise for clients.
“The challenge of excelling their business is highly exciting at this particularly interesting time for aviation. I look forward to working with the team and sharing my experience.”
