Network Airline Management has transported over 1,000 tons of freshly cut flowers in the run up to Valentine’s Day from Nairobi, Kenya into the UK and Europe, to help romantics celebrate the 14th February in style.

Network Aviation Group has been supporting Kenya’s renowned horticulture industry for more than 30 years and this year was no different. 2021’s schedule saw four B747 freighter flights operate every week as well as six additional flights to satisfy this year’s demand.

With Network’s office in Nairobi overseeing all aspects of the operation, each flight was loaded with over 100 tons of Valentine’s Day flowers including Roses and Carnations then flown into Liege, bound for the UK and other European destinations via onward trucking such as London, Amsterdam and Paris.

Andy Walters, Commercial Director of Network Airline Management said, “This has been another very successful season for us and we are proud to support Kenya’s fresh flower industry once again this year.”
