Latest views on air cargo market developments, which cover the last 5 weeks ending Sunday 8 November
| In week 45, worldwide chargeable weight showed a Week-on-Week (WoW) increase of 1%. Origin Middle East & South Asia experienced the largest increase (+6%), and Central & South America the largest decrease (-4%). Worldwide capacity was up by 2%. The only decrease in capacity came from Europe (-1%). Worldwide yield/rate (in USD per kg) increased for the fourth week in a row, albeit at a lower pace than in previous weeks. The market from Hong Kong to Western Europe stood out with a WoW volume increase of 14% and yield increase of 7%. |
