Frankfurt Airport cargo throughput (airfreight + airmail) in August dipped by 7.0% year-on-year to 160,937 tonnes – despite the ongoing lack of capacity for belly freight transported on passenger flights.
The German hub served some 1.5 million passengers in August, representing a 78.2% decline year-on-year. For the first time since March of this year, the decrease remained below the 80 percent mark.
Aircraft movements at Frankfurt Airport for the same month declined by 61.9% year-on-year to 17,695 takeoffs and landings.
