Emirates SkyCargo has resumed cargo services to and from Manchester.
The twice weekly Boeing 777-300ER passenger freighter flights between Manchester and Dubai will help facilitate UK trade by connecting local businesses with overseas markets.
It follows the return of the ten weekly cargo flights currently operating to and from London Heathrow, and expands Emirates’ global network of more than 75 destinations currently in operation.
Ross Barnett, UK Cargo Manager at Emirates SkyCargo, said: “The return of the Emirates SkyCargo service to Manchester is an important moment for the region and will help boost the local economy by providing businesses with export opportunities.
“As Emirates continues to expand its cargo operations, we are pleased to be able to support the transportation of vital commodities such as food and medicines alongside products that are essential for business continuity across a broad range of industries. We look forward to more flights returning to the UK soon.”
