The Lufthansa Cargo subsidiary, which specializes in time-critical express shipments, will offer daily flights (Monday to Friday) between Frankfurt, Birmingham and Dublin.
The sevices will counter “capacity bottlenecks” in freight traffic due to the Corona pandemic and offering customers flexible solutions for maintaining supply chains.
The new dedicated flights are aimed primarily at customers from the Logistics, Medtech, Automotive, Machinery and Components, Aviation, and Semiconductor industries.
With immediate effect, time:matters will fly to Birmingham and Dublin from Frankfurt am Main on Mondays to Fridays. Late check-in and departure times after 8 p.m. at Frankfurt Airport allow customers to utilize the full production day.
Immediately after arrival at the destination airports, the shipments will be made available for collection, distribution, and dedicated transport solutions. The early availability saves time and prevents high downtime costs within the supply chains.
In the opposite direction, flights from Birmingham and Dublin reach Frankfurt early in the morning before 7 a.m. This ensures optimal synchronization with the intercontinental flight network.
The agricultural sector is also benefiting from the additional cargo flights against the backdrop of the current harvest season. Upon request, time:matters also offers a customs clearance service at all locations.
